It does sound crazy but it is true! Follow these steps to use towels to fix your xbox. This is only a temporary fix (4 - 5 days) but who really cares when it means more gaming!
1. Turn your xbox off.
2. Unplug every cable except the power cable.
3. Turn the xbox on, and wrap it up in the first towel, the tighter the better (It does sound silly and strange, but if it does fix your xbox, it can't be too bad, can it?)
4. Grab the other two towels and wrap them around the xbox like the first one.

How To Fix Your Xbox 360
Now, Time to learn how to fix your xbox 360!
Tools you'll need:
I'm not going to explain how to open your xbox 360. If don't already know, then you can find out here.
You'll need to get the motherboard out of the metal cage, and pop off the heatsinks from both the CPU and GPU.
Once you get the GPU heatsink removed, look at the thermal pad on the bottom of it. Does it have a rectangular metallic silver cover on it? This is how mine looked. I suspect this thermal pad is insufficient for the amount of heat generated by the GPU.

- A thin hex head L-shaped wrench OR a probe tool of some sort.
- 1 T-8 Torx screwdriver
- 1 T-10 Torx screwdriver
- Plastic scraper tool or pocket knife
- Arctic Silver or other brand high quality heat sink paste
- 1 Brillo steel wool pad
- Cleaning supplies

Do You Want To Fix Your Xbox?
Were you playing an awesome game with your friend, maybe even kicking his ass, and then your xbox froze?
Did you wish you could fix your xbox?
I remember when I was younger, before xboxs had even been invented and I had gotten a good report from school.
Dad bought me a new game and boy was I excited. I couldn't wait to get home and play it.
I ran inside, put it in the drive, but no, it didn't work! Ah, I felt like crying! I can tell you now that I have grown up but these problems still exist and unfortunately many people have them.
Countless people will just take their xbox up to the shop, or even easier, just stick it in the closet. Indeed, if you do need some sunshine, maybe the closet isn't a bad idea!
